Cynthia and Philippe Baligan have been working closely as a team since the late nineties.
Their aesthetic approach centers around music movements such as Glam Rock, New Romanticism, the cinema of the French Nouvelle Vague, the Italian Neorealism, and the German Expressionist painters.

The pair has been collaborating for some of the most influential photographers in the fashion and art industry such as Nan Goldin, Taryn Simon, Tina Barney, Hiro, Mario Testino, Richard Burbridge and Glen Luchford.
